Memories of Florence Uhlig
I am posting this memorial to the person who influenced me the most in my life. In 1992 my family lost the "frame to our puzzle". She was a women ahead of her time. She (along with my dad) raised us, taught us, scolded us and praised us. She kept us together and helped make us the adults we are today. In late May of 1992 she found out she had cancer on her brain and although surgery was tried it wasnt enough to keep her with us. On June 27th of 1992 she went home to be with the lord. Our "frame" had to leave us and has left a great hole in all of our lives.
You may remember her as one of the PE teachers of B-G high as well as the elementary school. Ill always remember her saying "it has got to be a crime to get paid to play all day". She loved teaching PE and I hope some of you loved having her for your teacher.
